Teaching and Learning Using Kahoot!

Online learning is considered to be able to replace learning both at school and with tutoring institutions, especially the emergence of a pandemic from Covid-19 now makes all students change their learning methods. Is a good step. So, we can continue to complete the training and get information about lessons at school, we can also learn anywhere and anytime of course we will not only get knowledge just from the Book but from various sources such as the Kahoot! application.

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform, in this application users can create and work on multiple choice quizzes, not only through the application the player can do question and answer, but players can also use the browser by entering the PIN of the trivia quiz maker. Kahoot! The App itself creates to make learning media better by utilizing technology, so this application is perfect for use by anyone who wants to learn or teach.

Of course, each method chosen has positive and negative sides that can be felt by both the user and the user environment, based on the conclusion of the table above through an individual survey conducted by the author, Kahoot! indeed, technology-based teaching and learning methods which of course are considered to be able to replace access to learning anywhere and anytime by not having to meet with the teacher that can be used by anyone, but not all parents agree to learn to use this application because it is considered less effective.

Because many parents think so, it's a good idea for parents to always try to accompany their children when learning because they see the situation and the development more advanced over time, so teachers are encouraged to do teaching at home, and one of the media that can be utilized is the Kahoot! application. There is a possibility that the teacher also experiences some difficulties in the method, such as processing the child's ability to learn, because the teacher can’t monitoring while learning whether the child is truly honest when filling the questions or quiz or instead keeps asking people around who can prevent the child from understanding yourself first and don't rely on others as a benchmark.
